Home Garden values the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Home Garden mobile app uses, how that information is processed, and how third-party services may handle certain data.

1. Privacy and Local Data Storage
Home Garden is designed with user privacy in mind.
The app does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide personal identification information to access its core features.
Information such as growing plans, saved plants, growth stages, selected city, and app preferences is stored locally on the user's device.
Home Garden does not associate this information with any name, email address, user account, or personal identity. There is no system that identifies which user's locally stored data belongs to whom.
Furthermore:
- User profiles and personal plant records are not uploaded to our servers.
- Growing plans and plant growth records are not stored in any centralized database.
- User data is not matched or synchronized across devices through our servers.
- Home Garden does not operate infrastructure that allows us to access locally stored plant records or associate them with a particular individual.
Home Garden does not store personal plant records, growing plans, or user profiles on servers or databases operated by Home Garden.
Technical data processing by external services used through internet connections is separate from this local storage model and is explained below.
2. Location and Climate Information
Home Garden uses the user's selected country and city to provide plant recommendations suited to their region and the current season.
When climate information is needed, the selected city's geographic location or coordinates may be sent to NASA's climate data services.
No user names, email addresses, plant records, or growing plans are sent to NASA during these requests.
Retrieved climate information may be stored locally on the device for future use, including offline access.
3. Growing Guides and Internet Connectivity
Home Garden uses an internet connection to check for new growing guides and download them when necessary.
These requests do not involve creating user accounts or uploading personal growing records to a server.
However, as with standard internet communications, technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and connection details may be processed by infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare.
Home Garden does not associate this technical information with plant records stored locally on the user's device.
4. Advertising and Google AdMob
Home Garden uses Google AdMob to support its free features through advertising.
Google AdMob may process certain information to deliver advertisements, measure performance, maintain security, and prevent misuse.
This information may include:
- IP addresses and approximate location information.
- Device models and operating system information.
- Ad impressions and interactions with advertisements.
- App and advertising-related diagnostic information.
- Advertising identifiers, depending on applicable permissions and device settings.
Google may process this information according to its own privacy policies and applicable laws.
Home Garden does not send locally stored plant records or growing plans to Google AdMob for advertising targeting purposes.
Any data processing or identifier matching performed independently by the advertising provider is separate from Home Garden's local data storage system.
Users can manage available privacy and advertising preferences through their device settings. Additional consent options are provided where required by applicable laws.
Users who purchase the ad-free package will not see advertisements within the app while their purchase remains active.

5. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases in Home Garden are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Home Garden does not directly collect or store users' payment card information.
Purchase status and relevant transaction identifiers provided by the respective app store may be used to activate purchased features or restore previous purchases.
Apple and Google may process payment and transaction information according to their respective privacy policies.
6. Third-Party Services
Home Garden uses the following third-party services to provide certain features:
Google AdMob
Used for advertisement delivery, performance measurement, and advertising security. Google may process device information and advertising interaction data as part of these services.
NASA
Used to retrieve climate information for the user's selected region. Geographic information related to the requested location may be transmitted when climate data is requested.
Cloudflare
Used for distributing growing guides, hosting web pages, and maintaining connection security. Cloudflare may process technical information, including IP addresses and connection logs, to provide and secure its services.
Apple and Google
Used for app distribution and in-app purchase processing. These platforms may process purchase and transaction information under their respective privacy policies.
Each third-party provider maintains its own data processing and retention practices.
7. Data Storage and Deletion
Home Garden's core app data is stored locally on the user's device.
Uninstalling the app may remove locally stored app data. Backups created by the operating system may be retained separately.
Because Home Garden does not store plant records or growing plans on its own servers, we cannot remotely access or recover these records on behalf of an individual user.
Information processed by third-party service providers is subject to their respective data retention and deletion policies.
8. Support Requests and Communication
Users may contact us by email for support, bug reports, or suggestions.
In these cases, the email address, message content, and any information voluntarily provided by the user are processed solely to review and respond to the request.
This information is not associated with locally stored plant records.
Support correspondence may be retained through the relevant email service for as long as reasonably necessary.
9. Data Security, International Transfers, and User Rights
Home Garden values the protection of user information and aims to implement appropriate security measures.
Because third-party service providers may operate infrastructure in different countries, certain technical information processed by these providers may be transferred internationally in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Personal data is processed on applicable legal grounds, depending on the activity involved. These may include providing requested services, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests where permitted, or obtaining user consent when required.
Under applicable data protection laws, including Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and other relevant regulations, users may have rights to request information about, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of their personal data, subject to applicable conditions.

10. Children's Privacy
Home Garden does not intentionally seek to collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child's personal information has been processed inappropriately, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in app features, third-party services, or legal requirements.
Updates will be published on this page, along with a revised "Last updated" date.
